INFANT INSERT
Remove infant insert when the
child is 60cm or approximately
3 months old for additional room
and comfort.
HEADREST
The headrest provides the highest
level of protection and safety
when adjusted to the proper
height for your child. NOTE: The
headrest may align with the top
of your child's shoulders. The
optimum height position of the
shoulder belts is reached when
the belts are at or slightly below
the baby's shoulder height.

AIRPLANE USAGE
• The MESA i-SIZE Carrier installs
differently on airplane seats.
• Installing the MESA i-SIZE Carrier
with a 2-point safety belt is only allowed when
used in an aircraft.
• The MESA i-SIZE Carrier can only be installed on
forward-facing seats on an aircraft.
• The MESA i-SIZE Carrier is only approved for use
on an aircraft seat authorized by the airline.
• The MESA i-SIZE Carrier must remain belted on
the aircraft seat, even when unoccupied.
• The MESA i-SIZE Base cannot be used on an
aircraft seat.
CLEANING + GENERAL MAINTENANCE
CLEANING CANOPY, SEAT COVER, BUCKLE COVER AND SHOULDER PADS
The MESA i-SIZE seat cover is machine washable. Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle with mild detergent.
Dry flat and away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage.
CLEANING INFANT INSERT
The infant insert can be spot cleaned using warm water with a mild detergent and damp cloth. NEVER use aggressive
cleaning agents. DO NOT soak. Air dry completely before re-use or storage.
CLEANING PLASTIC PARTS
The MESA i-SIZE Carrier's plastic parts can be cleaned with a mild detergent or with a damp cloth. NEVER use
aggressive cleaning agents. (e.g. solvents). Towel dry completely before re-use or storage.
CLEANING HARNESS WEBBING
The belt system can be spot cleaned using warm water with a mild detergent and damp cloth. NEVER use aggressive
cleaning agents. DO NOT soak. Air dry completely before re-use or storage.
CLEANING BUCKLE AND LOWER ANCHOR CONNECTOR HARDWARE
The buckle should fasten with a 'click'. If not, rinse under warm running water and towel dry. DO NOT use lubricants
or detergents.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR:
• Only UPPAbaby replacement parts should be used. It may be unsafe to use parts supplied by another manufacturer.
• Contact your UPPAbaby distributor with any repair questions.
DO NOT USE BLEACH, SOLVENT OR HOUSEHOLD
CLEANERS AS THEY MAY WEAKEN THE PLASTIC
PARTS AND HARNESS WEBBING.
DO NOT USE SOAPS OR LUBRICANTS ON BUCKLE
OR HARDWARE AS THEY MAY CAUSE THE PARTS
TO MALFUNCTION.
