The technical specifications and the materials
used f or the DIA M O ND OCTO are the same as
f or the second stage version assembled on
t h e a b ove d escrib e d DIA M O N D a n d DIA-
M O ND ICE regulators.
The only differences are in the color of the
shield w hich is yello w, especially designed for
easier identification in case of quick use, and in
the hose w hich is also yello w. The latter w as es-
pecially made with a length of 1000 mm (3/8"
thread) for easier use in emergency conditions.
We recommend correct positioning o f the DI-
A M O ND OCTO to PRE-DIVE and w ith the air
flo w regulation knob f ully scre w ed up if it is
used as an auxiliary or emergency regulator.
The DIA M O ND OCTO first stage assembly
shall be carried out by qualified or experi-
enced persons in order to optimize and en-
sure t h e f u nctio n ality a n d sa f e ty re q uire-
ments needed.
Use a common 4 mm Allen wrench to remove
the lo w pressure port closing cap (3/8" pitch)
then make sure that the O-ring is present, in-
serted and positioned in the hose over the rel-
evant thread. Scre w up the hose with your fin-
gers until end stop, and then tighten the nut
with a 14 wrench without using excessive force.
Check for proper operation by putting the as-
sembled regulator under pressure before the
dive.

For sa f ety reasons you are recommended to
use the DIA M O ND OCTO only on the DIA-
M O ND, DIA M O ND ICE and SORIUS first stages
having an intermediate pressure o f 9.8 bar.
The use o f the DIA M O ND OCTO connected to
other first stages automatically makes the CE
Certification null and void, as the latter w as
obtained with tests carried out with connec-
tion o f the DIA M O ND OCTO to Seac Diving
Pro First stages.
Failure to comply w ith this recommendation
may also cause malf unctioning o f the second
stage and serious accidents may result.
Do not use adapters f or any reason w ith the
purpose o f connecting the lo w pressure hose
and relevant second stage to the high pres-
sure port identified by letters HP. Lo w pres-
sure components w ere designed and imple-
m e n t e d t o o p era t e w it h pressures n o t
exceeding 20 bar. Failure to comply with this
w arning may cause serious damage to per-
sons and equipment.
Be extremely care f ul w hen handling compo-
nents that are under pressure.
