How to Use

• Rinse well with warm water before first use or before using after long-term storage.
• Hot water may have an odor when the kettle is used for the first time. The odor will
dissapate after several uses. If the odor is bothersome, pour out the hot water for the first
two or three times.

. Open the lid. Put water into a separate
container and pour into the kettle.
Remove the kettle from the power base. Pour in only as much
water as you intend to use. (Do not fill above the fill line)
Close the lid tightly, and move the lock lever to
Fill Line

Do not fill past the fill line (water
lines are estimates).
Filling past the water line may
cause hot water to spill from the
top or base of the kettle,
resulting in burns or other injury.

. Place the kettle in the power base.
Line up the connection on the bottom of the kettle with the
power base.
The kettle will not function unless properly seated in the
power base.
