FORWARD
AUTONOMOUS MODE
In Autonomous Mode, MeccaSpider moves on its own to
explore its surroundings, playing basic songs and sound
effects. MeccaSpider will always start in this mode when
first powered on.
PROWL MODE
In Prowl Mode, MeccaSpider is on the hunt, moving quickly
about and "attacking" at will. Pressing the Forward button
will put it in this mode.
EXCITEMENT MODE
In Excitement Mode, MeccaSpider plays upbeat songs and
scurries around quickly looking for something fun to do.
When its IR sensor "sees" something new, MeccaSpider will
enter into this mode.
RECLUSIVE MODE
In Reclusive Mode, MeccaSpider is cautious and will back
up and cower away from potential threats. Be careful not
to scare it too much or it might "attack" back. Pressing the
Backward button will put it in this mode.
WILD & WACKY MODE
In Wild & Wacky Mode, MeccaSpider is happily confused as
it turns about and explores what is around it. Pressing either
the Left or Right button will put it in this mode.

GUARD MODES
BASIC GUARD
Once set into Basic Guard mode, MeccaSpider
will stay in place and wait until its IR sensor
detects movement. Once movement is detected,
BACKWARD MeccaSpider will "attack" whatever it "sees".
PATROL GUARD
PLAY
Once set into Patrol Guard mode, MeccaSpider will
LEFT
actively patrol the immediate area until its IR sensor
detects movement. Once movement is detected,
MeccaSpider will "attack" whatever it "sees".
RECORD
GAME MODES
REPEAT AFTER ME
STEP 1.
MeccaSpider's LED array
will depict a pattern of arrows
(symbolizing the physical arrow
buttons) as shown
in the diagram.
These LED arrows
will flash in
sequence with
the sounds and
colors.
VENOM ATTACK
STEP 1.
Gather all players and sit in a large
circle around the MeccaSpider and be sure to
sit very still.
STEP 2.
MeccaSpider will turn around in a
circle at random, but you never know when
MeccaSpider will stop turning and whether
you will get sprayed with "venom". If it stops
and doesn't "attack", then it will start turning
again, but beware, the "venom" can get you at
any time!
STEP 2.
To play the game, you must
press the physical arrow buttons in
the same order that the LED array
LEFT LEFT
showed. If you matched all arrows
correctly, the MeccaSpider will
celebrate and advance you to the
RIGHT RIGHT
next step which will get increasingly
difficult. If you
UP UP don't match
all arrows
correctly,
DOWN DOWN
MeccaSpider
will "attack".
