Smartphone holder with sensor and charging

Intended use
The product is suitable for wireless charging (Qi technology) of Qi-enabled smartphones in
a vehicle. The power is supplied directly via a USB power source or via the cigarette lighter
socket from the on-board power supply of a vehicle. The product can hold a mobile device
with a width of 59 - 91 mm. The product is attached to the ventilation grilles on the dashboard
inside the car.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the operating instruc-
tions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties
together with its operating instructions.

Safety information
Read the operating instructions carefully and observe in particular the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety information and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we will assume no liability for

a) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dan-
gerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you have any questions which are not answered in these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Connected devices
• Always observe the safety information and operating instructions of any other de-
vices which are connected to the product.
c) Persons and product
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation that forms may destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it into use.
This may take several hours.
• Never pour liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next
to the device. If liquid or an object does enter the device, disconnect it from the
power supply immediately.
• Do not use force when inserting the USB plugs. A USB plug fits only in one
direction into the USB socket.
• The housing and charging device must not be covered! The device housing
warms up during use. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation.
• Do not drill any holes into the product housing.
• Only use the product inside vehicles.
• Keep cards with magnetic strips, e.g. debit, credit, or medical cards away from
the smartphone holder.
• Operate the device at least 20 cm away from medical implants, e.g. pacemakers,
cochlear implants, etc.

Fitting the smartphone holder
When choosing the mounting surface, ensure that you will have a clear view of the
road and will not be distracted when driving. Always comply with all laws governing
the use of mobile phones in cars.
• Connect the charging unit to the clamp holder (8).
• To do this, insert the union nut over the ball head of the
clamp holder.
• Insert the ball of the joint on the clamp holder (8) into the
counterpart on the charging unit.
• Press lightly, do not use force. Tighten the ball joint hand-
tight using the union nut.
