Dual Bail Drive Controls (If Equipped)
NOTE: Do not engage the dual bail drive
controls while starting the engine.
NOTE: Once the engine is running and while
using the mower, continue holding the blade
control (a) against the upper handle (b). See
Figure 3-3.
NOTE: Release the blade control to stop the
engine.

Using Mower as Rear Wheel Drive Only:
1. Squeeze the right bail drive control (c)
against the upper handle (b) to engage
the rear wheel drive.

2. Release the right bail drive control (c) to
disengage the rear wheel drive.

Using Mower as Front Wheel Drive Only:
1. Squeeze the left bail drive control (d)
against the upper handle (b) to engage
the front wheel drive.

disengage the front wheel drive.

Using Mower as All Wheel Drive:
1. Squeeze both bail drive controls against
the upper handle to engage all wheel
drive.

NOTE: After all wheel drive is engaged both
of the bail drive controls must be held to keep
the front and rear wheel drives engaged and
propelling the mower.
2. Release both bail drive controls to
disengage all wheel drive.
