you use the iron for the first time. This is normal; the particles are
harmless and stop coming out of the iron after a short while).
3. When using the iron for the first time, you may notice a slight
emission of smoke, peculiar odor and hear some sounds made
by the expanding plastics. This is quite normal and it stops after
a short time (certain parts of the iron have been lightly greased;
therefore the iron could give off a little smoke when plugged in
for the first time. This will cease after a short while).

Do not overfill the tank above MAX level.
4. Use distilled water only; do not use chemically de-limed or
perfumed water, as it may damage the device. Do not pour any
liquid other than water into the tank.
5. The water tank cover must be closed during operation.
Note: Do not store the iron with water in the tank!
Before connecting the device to power supply make sure to select
appropriate position on the voltage selection switch (115 V / 230 V)
corresponding to voltage in the power supply mains.
BEFORE EACH USE, MAKE SURE THE VOLTAGE SWITCH IS
IN CORRECT POSITION! OTHERWISE, THE DEVICE WILL BE
DAMAGED.
NOTE: when plugging the device to power mains, make sure the
plug is suitable for local power mains socket. You may need an
adapter!
Press the handle folding button at the base of the iron to unfold the
handle. Press the button again to fold the handle.
Fold the handle before storing/transporting to prevent from
damage.
