Intended use
The operating theatre step serves as a platform for standing
at tables or shelves. The maximum load of the operating
theatre step is 150 kg.
Damage caused by improper use results in loss of liability
and of guarantee claims.
Safety instructions
The operating theatre step may only be used on dry, even
floors. Always wear non-slip shoes when standing on the
operating theatre step.
There is a danger of slipping on damp and wet surfaces.
Immediately clean and dry any damp and wet surfaces.
Steps standing on busy passageways are a tripping hazard.
Store the steps safely when not in use.
The operating theatre step may only be used in a technically
sound condition, with risks and safety in mind, for its
intended purpose and according to the operating
instructions.

Stainless steel: unsuitable cleaning agents
The stainless steel surfaces of the device may be damaged
by incorrect handling and rust may form. Therefore, take the
following precautions when using the device:

Never use the following for cleaning: chlorinated
detergents, scouring powder or other dry cleaners,
cleaning wool, steel wool pads or sharp-edged objects.

and follow the instructions contained in them. You can
download the care instructions at

Suitable cleaning agents
The manufacturer cannot assess the suitability of specific
detergents or disinfectants.
►
Check the notes on the detergents or disinfectants to
find out whether they are suitable for the materials in
the product.
►
If in doubt, ask the manufacturer of the cleaning agent
if it is suitable for the materials.
►
Clean and disinfect the surfaces of the device after use
or as required.
►
For wet cleaning, use a soft cloth or an uncoated
sponge.
►
Use degreasing liquid cleaners.
►
Disinfect with commercially available disinfectants.
Check the screw connections annually. Tighten the screw
connections if necessary.
