4. START
4.1 INSTALLATION AND PRELIMINARY CHECKS
The machine is delivered inside a packaging. To unload the machine, use a forklift of adequate capacity
(the weight of the model is shown in the paragraph concerning the technical features). During the
unloading phase, keep at an adequate distance from the forklift and position forks so as to keep structure
stability while unloading.
After unloading:
- Remove machine from packaging and check it is entirely sound and complete with all parts mentioned
in the shipping list. If not, contact our dealer immediately.
- Position machine on a flat surface in a position to sustain its weight (shown in the technical features).
- On delivery, the machine is not provided with a main switch and a protection of its own. Therefore, it is
necessary to apply to skilled personnel (we recommend consulting with our authorized dealer) in order to
carry out the connection according to the standards of the laws which are in effect in the country where
the machine is installed.
4.2 WATER CONNECTION
Connect the supplied pipe (9) to a water supply cock of the type used for washing machines.
4.3 EXHAUST CONNECTION
As indicated in the MAINTENANCE chapter, the boiler must be periodically emptied by means of the
drain cock which should be connected to the sewer network with a pipe.
4.4 AIR CONNECTION
Connect the machine to the compressed air system and regulate the pressure reducer (8) so that the
pressure gauge reads 6 bar.
