3. GENERAL DIRECTIONS

3.1 ELECTRIC FEEDING
The connection to machine feeding should be carried out according to the directions of Reverberi, which,
however, is not responsible for connection. To carry out a correct connection of the machine, follow the
below listed directions:
- Check that the connection point to the energy source guarantees the existence of all protections
necessary according to the standards in effect. Therefore, it is necessary to protect the feeding taps with a
differential magnetothermic switch of adequate capacity (the maximum value of absorbed current is
shown in the technical features).
- Under no circumstances use extensions.
- Check that the cable position may not cause any damage whatsoever.

3.2 OPERATOR'S WORKING RULES

• Always wear individual protective devices according to the directions of the safety standards in
effect.
• Do not get near the machine with inflammable material.
• Never leave the boiler with the iron fed and leaned on the covering cloth. At the end of every
operation phase, it is necessary to disconnect all active devices and put them back into their
housings.
• Do not carry out maintenance or repairs when the machine is in operation or connected to the tap,
and when there are parts at high temperature.
• Use of the machine is recommended to adult and responsible persons, and in a place inaccessible
to children.
• Work and keep machine in a dry place, protected from atmospheric precipitations.
• We recommend not leaning on the working surfaces materials whose sizes and weight may
endanger machine stability.
• Periodically check the state of feeding cables.
• In case there is more than one person on the workplace, we recommend keeping an adequate
distance from the machine in order to avoid any accidental contact with high-temperature points.
• Never put the machine into operation when the cable is not perfectly sound or its structure is
damaged.
We recommend paying special attention to the points of the machine which are at
high temperature both during operation and during the time after extinction.
Normally, after extinction it is necessary to wait at least 30 minutes for a complete
cooling to take place.
