BEFORE FIRST USE
Check if all accessories are complete and undamaged.
During the first use, the cooking plate may produce some smoke. This is normal as the heat is removing any
coating debris, this should stop after +-5 minutes of operation.
After 5 minutes, let the device cool down and clean the plates with a damp cloth.
The appliance is now ready to make delicious waffles.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn the appliance on by plugging the electrical socket into the power outlet.
Turn the adjustable heat thermostat to level 4.
Verify that the power indicator light illuminates in orange.
Caution: while in use the cooking plates and metal surfaces will become extremely hot.
2. After approximately five minutes the appliance power indicator light will turn green, indicating that the
appliance has pre-heated and is ready for use.
3. Use the handle to lift the upper plate and open the device. Once opened, carefully pour the desired amount of
batter on to the bottom plate. Making sure the batter is evenly spread over the bottom plate.
4. Use the handle to lower the top plate onto the bottom plate and close the appliance. This will allow the batter
to bake evenly on both sides.
5. When the batter is baked as desired the appliance can be opened using the handle.
Remove the waffle using non metal utensils.
6. If more cooking is to be done repeat step 2 to 5 until cooking is completed, reapplying cooking oil where
necessary.
7. Turn off the appliance by unplugging the electrical socket from the power outlet.
8. Leave the appliance to cool before further cleaning, handling and storing.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the baking plates to cool.
Wipe the outside with a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that no moisture, oil or grease enters the cooling slots.
Use a slightly moistened non scouring cloth to wipe away any baking debris from the cooking plates.
Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the finish.
