12. Convince yourself after each use and before filling in new fuel paste that the burner is completely off.
13. Use only the designated lid to extinguish the burner. There is a fire and burn hazard if other objects
are used. If a burner 56 2326 68 10 is very hot and does not go out right away after the lid was put
on, remove the lid again and allow the burner to burn a few minutes longer at the lowest adjustment
setting. This will reduce the heat and allow you to use the lid to easily extinguish the burner afterwards.

Starting the burner up

• Follow the safety instructions
• Verify that the burner is set up in the horizontal position and cannot tip.
• Open the burner (twist cap).
• Place the aluminium cup / goblet including the fuel paste into the lower section, tear open the aluminium
cover and remove it or fill an existing aluminium cup with fuel paste.
• Make sure that the burner is connected properly, place it inside the rechaud and light it. We recommend
that you use long matches or stick lighters for this purpose.
Refill fuel paste:
• Extinguish the flame and allow the burner to cool down.
• Remove the burner from the rechaud and open it (twist cap).
• Refill the depleted aluminium cup with fuel paste.
• Close the burner (twist cap).
