1. PRESENTATION
AQUA-BASE
The
range ZD desalination unit is composed of :
- an assembled module which includes the HP and LP pumps ; the R/O treatment module assembled with the regulating block and the 3 way
valve and HP security ; the electrical circuit and its control panel ; the seawater filtration and the LP security ; the production flowmeter
assembled with the cell and the LP gauge.
- pipes, fittings and fixation components necessary for installation.
Hull fitting and hull valve are not included in the supplies.
2. CHARACTERISTICS
TYPE
Pression
Capacité nominale
Capacité maximale
(1) The pressure is adjustable, to optimise performances, according to operating conditions.
(2) The nominal capacity is given for a new unit, nominal membranes performances, operating in standard sea water TDS 35000ppm (35g/l) and temperature
25°C. The capacity can vary from +/-15%, according to allowances given by the membranes manufacturers.
(3) This flow is the maximum authorized. Pressure should be adjusted in order not to exceed this : it should particularly be reduced as soon as the sea water
salinity noticeably decreases, notably at river mouths.
