Enbio Magic Filter user manual
1. Application
Enbio Magic Filter is a filter that allows you to recycle the water used by the
sterilizer. The ion exchange resin contained in the Enbio Magic Filter allows the
treatment of waste water to the level of deionized water in accordance with the
requirements of PN-EN 13060 (Annex C) – as recommended and approved for use
with Enbio autoclaves. Its structure is as simple as possible and allows it to be
connected to all Enbio devices, both the newest and those produced in the past.
2. Using of the filter
The Enbio Magic Filter is filled with an ion exchange resin, which changes its color
from dark blue to amber as it is used up. As long as the blue color is visible, the
resin has still water-purifying properties, ex. water hardness <0.02 mmol / l and
conductivity <15 μS/cm. To ensure the correct parameters of the water supplying
the device, it is recommended to check the water tank at least once a quarter. If
contamination is found, the tank should be emptied, cleaned and filled with new
deionized water.
3. Replacing of the filter
The filter should be replaced with a new one every 6 months or sooner, when the
resin has completely discolored to an amber color. Failure to do so may disrupt
the sterilization process and will void the warranty for the sterilizer..
4. Safety instructions and disposal of the used filter
• do not open the filter or disassemble its components
• dispose of the used filter together with the so-called mixed / residual waste
