The cables (red = positive, black = earth) of the gazzini Mirror are approx. 100 cm
in length and can be shortened if necessary. Make sure that each individual
cable is connected correctly to be short-circuit proof and with proper vehicle
connectors (sold separately). Never use ordinary terminal blocks.
If your motorcycle does not already have DRLs, it is advisable to use a special
DRL switch (also available form Louis) which activates/switches off the DRL
according to the level of ambient light. When connecting up the gazzini Mirror
with daytime running light, you must follow the instructions provided with the DRL
switch.
After connecting up, it is imperative to check that the electrical system and all
functions are working correctly before you set off. You have the option of using
the mirror light as a position light. To do so, you connect the white cable to the
plus supply line of your existing position light or parking light.

Until it is installed, the gazzini Mirror with daytime running light should be kept in
its original packaging and stored in a place that is protected against weather and
moisture.

6 | Cleaning and care

Use warm soapy water or a motorcycle cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the
gazzini Mirror with daytime running light. Do not use a pressure washer, as it may
damage the seals, and water my get into the gazzini Mirror. Afterwards, use a
wax-based care product which will protect the surface against the elements. Do
not apply the care product to the daytime running light or the mirror lens.

departments.
