FAILURE TO READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE
INSTALLING OR OPERATING THIS CONTROL COULD CAUSE PERSONAL
INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
The 5C22 warm air fan controls are designed to control
fan operation in a forced air heating system. They will start
the fan circulating warm air when the plenum temperature
rises and stop the fan when the plenum temperature falls
below a predetermined setting, to prevent the circulation
of cold air.
The 5C02 warm air limit controls are designed to act as
a safety switch which automatically shuts off the burner
if the furnace temperature reaches a dangerously high
point. These limit controls have special contacts which
are suitable for use on low voltage and millivolt (thermo-
CAUTION
!
To prevent electrical shock and/or equipment
damage, disconnect electric power to Furnace at
main fuse or circuit breaker box, until installation
is complete.

equipment such as gas valves, oil burner motors, etc.
Both fan and limit controls can be combined in one
enclosure for operating both fan and limit.
!
Do not use on circuits exceeding specified volt-
ages. Higher voltages will damage control and
could cause shock or fire hazard.
