Installing batteries in the microphone
Batteries do not belong in the hands of children.
Batteries are hazardous waste and do not belong with domestic
waste!
Observe the right polarity when inserting the batteries.
Remove the batteries if the device is not used for a longer period
of time.
Make sure not to short-circuit the batteries or throw them into a
fire. They may not be recharged. Danger of explosion!
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause caustic skin burns if
touched. Therefore you should always wear suitable protective
gloves!
Switch off the microphone.
Unscrew the microphone holder (9)
from the shaft.
Insert one new 9V block battery into the
battery compartment (10) with proper

Slide the on/off switch (12) downwards.
The battery cannot be inserted incorrectly
given the polar alignment of the contacts
(see following image for polarity).
Refasten the microphone holder (9) to
the shaft.
Under long disuse, please remove the
battery to prevent leaking.
When switching the microphone on
(on/off switch (12) upwards) the status
display (11) shines briefly.
This is normal and shows that the bat-
tery is charged. If the status display still
shines after switching on, or not at all,
the battery is discharged and must be
replaced.
Operation

more, your Mc Crypt cordless microphone system GH-818 is ready to use.
Once more inspect the correct position
of the LEVEL (6) toggle.
Switch on the receiver with the POWER
(1) switch.
Make sure when replacing the micro-
phone holder (9) that the shaft contact
and the holder contact are aligned
together.
In the interest of maintaing a long bat-
tery life, only alkaline type batteries
should be used.
For description, see "Connecting the
receiver".
Move the switch upwards.
The built-in LED display shines.
