TU 301
User instruction
Operating principle
The sealed receiverTU 301 enables the use of
RF remote controls TU 202, TU 204 TU 209 and
TU 230 to control electric circuits indoors and
outdoors. The circuits may be used to control:
- lighting
- controlled power sockets
- specific automation systems (remote regu-
lators, roller shutter controls, garage doors).
Several receivers may be used within an
installation.
A minimum distance of 10 cm must be main-
tained between every receiver. Furthermore,
in order to improve the product reception, it
is not adviseable to install the receiver near a
metallic object.
Operating modes
A push-button located on upper face of
receiver is used to select the "auto" and
"prog" modes.
The "auto" mode is the product normal
•
operating mode.
It allows:
- operate the output from the RF remote
controls,
- displaying the type of control associated
with a transmitter,
- priority setting of output state by pressing
shortly receiver's push-button.
The "prog" mode is the product
•
configuration mode. It allows:
- configuring the radio transmitters' keys
using the keys of receiver,
- modify the configuration
- deleting totally the receiver
- erase the RF remote control keys.
To enter the "prog" mode:
- press receiver's push-button for 3 seconds
- the OK LED located next to push-button
starts slowly flashing on and off.
This mode allows you:
- to configure one or several transmitters,
- to totally or partially delete the receiver.
If no mode is manually selected the "auto"
mode will be automatically selected after
10 minutes.
Configuration
To configure the output of a receiver:
- set into "prog" mode,
- the OK LED located next to the push-button
starts slowly flashing on and off,
- select the type of control you wish to asso-
ciate with the key of transmitter currently
under configuration by pressing the push-
button shortly and repeatedly (< 3sec).
The control selection LEDs are switched on
successively.
- Press the RF remote control key to be
configured for 3 sec.,
- The LED will flash for 1 second and then go
off.
The receiver informs the transmitter, and the
latter exits from the configuration mode.

In "auto" mode, each signal from a remote control
or a time switch will switch on LEDs of controls
associated with this transmitter on the receiver.
LEDs will remain switched on during the transmit-
ter's transmitting phase.

See the configuration procedure.
Partial erasing
This partial delete removes the allocation of a
transmitter's key to the output of a receiver.
- In "prog" mode, press the receiver's push-
button to set into delete mode.
All LEDs are switched off, except for the first
one.
- Press transmitter's push-button for 10 sec.,
- within 5 sec, all 4 LEDs start flashing fast on
and off,
- after 10 sec, all 4 LEDs switch off and the
device sets back into "auto" mode.
The partial delete is completed.
Total erasing
This total erasing is used to delete any existing
output configuration realised with the receiver.
- In "prog" mode, press the receiver's
push-button to set into delete mode.
All LEDs are switched off, except for the first
one.
- Press receiver's push-button for 10 sec.,
- within 5 sec, all 4 LEDs start flashing fast on
and off,
- after 10 sec, all 4 LEDs switch off and the
device sets back into "auto" mode.
The total delete is completed.
Forcing
This product is equipped with manual control:
- press receiver's push-button shortly (< 3 sec),
Each short pressure reverses the output state.
Note:
The radio control remains the priority control.
