1. Position compressor on a flat surface or one with
an inclination of 10° or less in a well ventilated
area away from flammable vapors.
2. Ensure that all covers and labels are in place,
label are legible and securely mounted. Do not
use compressor until all the above items have

3. Ensure that drain valve is closed in the vertical
position (A).
4. Ensure that the safety valve (B) is functioning
properly by pulling on the valve ring and allow
the valve to reset. The safety release valve is
designed to protect against high pressure air
from the air tank when its factory set pressure
(slightly higher than the pressure switch cut-out
setting) is exceeded.
If the safety release valve vents

under normal operating condi-
tions stop using the compressor immediately
and send you compressor for service. If the
safety release valve is venting the tanks the pilot

Allow compressor to cool before moving or
attempting maintenance.
ADjuSTING REGuLATOR
This compressor is provided with an internal reg-

depending on user setting.
To adjust regulated pressure:
1. Pull regulator knob out (A).
2. To increase pressure, turn clockwise.
3. To decrease pressure, turn counter clockwise.
