PROGRAM BUTTON
To program tracks, follow the steps below:
1. Press CD PROGRAM/CLOCK Button on the main unit or press PROGRAM button on the remote in
Stop mode;
2. Press SKIP/SEARCH buttons to select album number to be programmed, and press PROGRAM
button to store, then press SKIP/SEARCH buttons or ALBUM/10+ button to select desired track and
press PROGRAM button again to save this track to memory and step into the next programming step;
3. Repeat the processes specified above to go on with the programming.
4. After programming is finished, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to enter Program Playback.
5. A total of 99 tracks can be programmed.
6. To exit programming playback, press STOP button first, then press PLAY/PAUSE to resume normal
playback.
AUXILIARY INPUT
Any audio signal can be input through the AUX Input jacks, and this set the function as a power amplifier.
1. Press the FUNCTION button to enter AUX mode.
2. Insert the plugs of the commercially audio line cable which is available in most audio stores into the
AUX Input jacks (R & L) or LINE-IN JACK, and the other small connector into the LINE OUT JACK of
signal source (other CD player, recorder etc).
3. Press the PLAY button of the signal source to start playback.
4. Adjust the VOLUME of this set. The VOLUME control of the signal source will not work any more.
VOL+/- BUTTONS
Press these buttons to increase or decrease the volume level.
MUTE BUTTON
Press this button to turn mute on or off. In Mute on mode, the sound is cut off.
PHONES JACK
For private listening, insert a stereo headphone with plug diameter of 3.5mm into the jack, the output of
the speakers will be disconnected. The headphone volume can be adjusted by the volume control.
CAUTION:
Listening at high power for a long moment could damage users' ears.
Cautionary notes
CAUTION---To reduce the risk of personal injury or product damage:
1. During playback the disk spins at high speed; do not lift or move the player. Doing so may damage the
disc.
2. Do not expose the product to extreme temperature changes, moisture/high humidity, or dust/dirt.
3. Slot and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the
product and to protect it from overheating; do not block or cover these openings by placing the product
on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface.
4. Do not clean product with thinner, alcohol, or benzene.
5. Do not leave the unit exposed to direct sunlight.
6. Do not drop the product or subject it to strong shocks.
When Moving the Player
Be Sure to remove the disc from the player before packing for moving.
It is recommended that you also remove the disc from the player and turn off the power when not using
the player.
Saving Power
It is recommended that you turn off the power to the player when not in use.
• If you are not going to use it for prolonged period of time, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY
Precautions & General Maintenance
• Place the set on a hard and flat surface so that the system
does not tilt.
• Do not expose the set, batteries or CDs to humidity, rain,
sand or excessive heat caused by heating equipment or direct
sunlight.
• Do not cover the set. Adequate ventilation with a minimum
gap of 6 inches between the ventilation holes and surrounding
surfaces is necessary to prevent heat build-up.
• The mechanical parts of the set contain seif-Iubricating
bearings and must be oiled or lubricated.
• To clean the set, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning
agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene or abrasives as
these may harm the housing.
CD Player and CD handling
• The lens of the CD Player should never be touched!
• Sudden changes in the surrounding temperature can cause condensation to form and the lens of your
CD player or cloud over. Playing a CD is then not possible. Do not attempt to clean the lens but leave
the set in a warm environment until the moisture evaporates.
• Always close the CD door to keep the CD compartment dust-free. To clean, dust the compartment with
a soft dry cloth.
• To clean the CD, wipe in a straight line from the centre towards the edge using a soft, lint-freecloth. Do
not use cleaning agents as they may damage the disc.
• Never write on a CD or attach any stickers to it.
