Changing the direction of rotation
•
The „Power-On" standard direction is clockwise. „ALU"
will be shown in the display. (Fig. 1)
•
By using the direction change button, the direction of ro-
tation can be changed.
•
When running in an anti-clockwise direction, the letters
„LIN" will be displayed. (Fig. 2)
•
The direction of rotation will be displayed by LEDs.

Setting the torque
•
The torque can only be set when in clockwise rotation
setting.
•
The value can be set by pressing the „
•
Sequence display: „ALU" – „STA" – „50", ... up to the
maximum value.
Changing the fuse
1. First remove the appliance from the mains.
2. Remove the rubber stopper from the underside of the
handle and remove the fuse.
3. After replacing the fuse, place the rubber stopper into the
socket.
Loosening of screw fastenings
1. Take the appropriate socket wrench (17, 19, 21, 23) and
press this attachment on to the adapter.
2. Hold the electrical impact wrench and plug in to the re-
spective 12 Volt on-board mains plug (vehicle: cigarette
lighter socket).
3. Switch the lighter on using the car key.
4. Press the rotation change button in order to select anti-
clockwise rotation.
5. In order to loosen the nuts, press the front button until the
screw / nut is loosened.
Fastening of screw fastenings
1. In order to fasten the nut / screw, select the clockwise
rotation by using the rotation change button.
2. Now select the Newton metre setting. Press the „ + /-"-
button and select one of the three available settings:
Aluminium, steel or individually adjustable strength. The
current setting can be found on the display (see Fig. 3).
3. Press the front button in order to screw in the nut /
screw.

The achieved torque will be determined and shown
in the display.
•
In the event that the set torque is achieved, the motor
+ /-"-buttons.
