See fig. 1
Functions and operating modes
The PoE injector PSU20-PoE-36W02 supplies devices with PoE connection ac-
cording to the PoE standard IEEE 802.3af/at up to 36 W via Power over Ethernet
(PoE). The devices are designed for top hat rail mounting in the switch cabinet.
Installing
See fig. 2 and 3
WARNING
Opening the switch cabinet under power
Risk of injury due to high voltages!
Disconnect switch cabinet from power supply before opening.
The device is screwed from the inside to a pre-drilled control cabinet wall.
Drill holes in the control cabinet wall as shown in fig. 3 to feed through the
device flange and to fasten the device.
Attach the supplied seal to the M22 flange of the unit as shown in fig. 3.
Insert the device flange through the hole in the switch cabinet and fasten it
to the switch cabinet wall from the outside using the supplied mounting ma-
terial (screws and hexagon nuts) as shown in fig. 3. The maximum tightening
torque is 1.3 Nm for the screws and 10 Nm for the hexagon nut.
Connecting
The connected devices are supplied via PoE using special, pre-assembled
Ethernet cables with IP67-M22 connectors. The M22 connection is made outside
the control cabinet and guarantees IP67 protection.
