4- Maintenance and safety

The station must show normal operation by means of its service lights (OFF-ON-
AUTO). Otherwise, the display will show the fault code, which you must note down in
the incident record book and notify the company responsible for the maintenance of
the unit.
The station has automatic checks that guarantee the system is operating correctly, but
for a better guarantee, follow these recommendations..

• Regularly inspect the system, testing the detectors and verifying they are working
correctly. The frequency of these inspections will depend on the ambient conditions
of the installation and must be more frequent in places where, for example, there are
concentrations of powder, humidity or contaminating gases.
• You must note down all faults shown by the station in the incident record book. It is
important to note the date of the fault and the date of the repair.
• The useful life of the sensor is 5 years. We recommend you replace it after this time
has passed.
• The sensor can be calibrated (see point 6 of this manual), but this is not recommended.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odourless, colourless gas that, depending on the level to
which you are exposed, can be fatal. In the table below, you can see the symptoms that
you can suffer depending on the time and quantity of CO to which you are exposed.
