12 a : Overview of the semi-buried swimming pool.
Before starting the assembly, ensure that you have all the parts.
IMPORTANT: If you choose to semi-bury your pool, ensure that
you bury your pump and filter at the same level as the swim-
ming pool in an enclosed and watertight space. For the filter to
function correctly, it should always be located under the water
line.WARNING: semi-buried swimming pools, before filling, must
be equipped with a security system that complies with the stan-
dards in your country, to prevent drowning.
12 b : Fit a DELTA MS type insulating plastic film (not provided) onto
the exterior wall to drain away rainwater. The height of the film
should be the same as the level of gravel filling.
12 c : Fill the surround of the swimming pool with gravel. Ensure that
you do not warp the structure when tipping in the gravel filling.
12 d : insulating film + Fill with crushed stone
13 a : Preparing the ground
13 b : Position the swimming pool so that the entrance of the skimmer
is facing the prevailing wind in order to optimise the evacuation
of surface particles.
13 c : Position the structure facing the prevailing winds, to do this,
temporarily use the first line of the planking. A half plank should
be directly in line with the skimmer
13 d : Mark the positioning of the structure on the ground with a mar-
gin of 50cm to make it easier to check the measurements
13 e : Prepare the ground if necessary. Pour a flagstone concrete of
the delimited dimension of 10 cm thickness minimum
14 a : Assembling the walls
14 b : Overview of assembly. Use one sacrificial piece to interlock all
the planks together
14 c : Level the first layer of planks
14 d : Check the measurements using a tape measure (10 m).
14 e : Check the measurements using a tape measure (10 m).
14 f : Position the backing plank. it can be placed on the right or on
the left of the skimmer
15 a : Position the bottom skimmer plank.
15 b : Position the top skimmer plank and the 3 top planks.
16 a : Screwing the consoles together
16 b : Mark the position of the guide holes to be drilled into the 7 full
walls.
16 c : Mark the position of the guide holes to be drilled into the
skimmer wall
16 d : Position the consoles
16 e : Level the consoles and tighten them up until the screws are
sunk below the surface of the wood.
17 a : Assembly of the pool reinforcements of swimming pool
17 b : Put at length the post of section 45x135 for the skimmer
17 c : mark the site of drillings and to lay out the posts
17 d : bore the walls
17 e : screw and drown the heads of screw
17 f : Fix the wooden brackets for the skimmer hatch (pine curbs
only).
18 a : Preparing the walls
18 b : Screw the skimmer outlet into the top plank using the screws
provided in the skimmer box.
18 c : Install the exterior skimmer joint as well as the main part of the
skimmer.
18 d : Fix the entire unit, tightening thoroughly for sound
waterproofing.
18 e : Drill the rails to the correct dimensions
(3 cm from the ends then approximately every 20 cm).
19 a : Screw the first rail of the liner tightly
19 b : Trace the angle to be cut out
19 c : Cut out the angles following the diagram
20 a : Find the skimmer through the padding
20 b : Cut the padding outside the frame.
20 c : Same with return fitting.
20 d : Place the skimmer joint
20 e : Place the return fitting joint.
21 a : Installing the padding and the liner
21 b : Install the protective padding.
21 c : Cut the protective padding to size using a cutter or a pair of
scissors
21 d : Place the liner into the pool
21 e : Feed the liner into the lip of the rail.
22 a : Check the position of the liner and remove the largest folds and
creases.
22 b : Adjust the angles of the liner to fit the structure
22 c : Fill with 2 cm of water.
22 d : Remove the folds and creases
22 e : Fill with water.
23 a : Cut out for nozzle and skimmer
23 b : Stop filling the water just below the inlet nozzle.
23 c : Position the inlet nozzle from the inside of the pool
23 d : Cut the liner around the inlet nozzle leaving a margin
of approximately 2 mm.
23 e : Tighten the screw of the inlet fitting
24 a : Cover the threaded part of the ends with the Teflon tape, tur-
ning in an anti-clockwise direction. Minimum 20 turns
24 b : Install one of the 4.50m pipes and fix in place using a metal
jubilee clip.
24 c : Place the other end of the pipe into the pool and fill the pool
with water
24 d : Mark the site of the skimmer joint
24 e : Install the skimmer joint and frame
25 a : Cut and remove the liner inside the skimmer frame
25 b : The water level is correct when it reaches the middle of the
skimmer (after installing the filter system).
25 c : Fit the finishing sections. Leave a space of 2 cm between
the end of the finishing section and the curb. Cut the finishing
section to the correct length if necessary
26 a : Installing the curbs.
26 b : Assemble the interior curbs onto the structure.
26 c : Detail of the junction point for the interior curb.
26 d : Assemble the aluminium junctions without tightening.
26 e : Insert the junctions between the curbs.
26 f : Place the skimmer curbs elements.
26 g : Align the skimmer curv with supports.
27 a : Assemble the exterior curbs.
27 b : Pre-drill the interior curb consoles and boards.
27 c : Pre-drill the exterior curbs.
27 d : Screw the curbs.
27 e : Screw the curb junctions.
27 f : Fix the 2 hinges of the skimmer curbs after first pre-drilling with
a 2 mm drill bit.
28 a : Ladders
28 b : Position the ladder at the correct level. In order to do this,
it may be necessary to remove the air under the steps
28 c : If you are using a safety cover, remember to centre the stainless
steel ladder on the curb.
29 a : Fix the stainless steel supports into place using the nuts
provided in the stainless steel ladder box
