Cleaning and Maintenance

Remove the O-Ring prior to cleaning. Clean the M Waterproof
Battery with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents. After exposure
to moisture, wipe the battery case with a soft, lint-free cloth and
air dry overnight.
Inspect the O-Ring prior to each use, as it will need to be
changed periodically. If damage to the O-Ring is observed
or suspected, replace prior to resuming use.
If the M Waterproof Battery is dropped, inspect it for evidence
of damage or cracking. If any evidence of damage is seen,
the M Waterproof Battery should be replaced.

Expected Life

The expected life of the M Waterproof Battery is 1 year.

Ingress Protection (IP) Ratings

The following product configuration has an IP rating of 68
(complete protection against dust penetration; protection
against failure due to continuous immersion in water up
to 3 meters):
