General Information for Using the M Waterproof Battery

• Using the supplied power adapter, it takes
approximately 3 to 4 hours to fully recharge a depleted
M Waterproof Battery. If the M Waterproof Battery
is stored for prolonged periods of time, it may take
approximately 5 to 6 hours to fully recharge the battery.
• The M Waterproof Battery does not need to be
fully depleted before charging. A partially charged
M Waterproof Battery may be fully charged
in a shorter time period.
• You can discontinue charging the M Waterproof
Battery at any time.
• You will not damage the M Waterproof Battery if it
remains charging longer than the required charging
time or overnight.
• It is recommended to use and recharge the
M Waterproof Battery at least once every 3 months.
Please note that the M Waterproof Battery will
decrease in capacity with age, even if not in use.
This is normal behavior for all rechargeable batteries
and should not be considered a defect.
• Ensure that the selected program supports off-ear
listening (headpiece microphone input). If the
program does not support headpiece microphone
input, select the appropriate program that does.
If you are unsure, contact your cochlear implant
professional for programming assistance.
