8. Troubleshooting

In the event of difficulty
If operation freezes, the screen goes blank or the unit otherwise does not function properly, try
turning the power off then back on. Alternatively, try to solve the problem using the remedies
shown below until the unit returns to normal playback mode.
1) Turn the car ignition OFF and back ON again.
2) Press the RESET button on the DVD-player.
This guide will help you isolate the problem. If you still cannot resolve the problem, make sure
the rest of your system is properly connected or consult your authorized retailer.

8.1. Problem: No IR-function

Please check the following items:
IR-Remote
Broken
Obstacle
Out of range
IR-Remote battery
- Flat
- Not present
- Incorrectly inserted
Not valid
No power
ACC Power turned off
Others

Cause Remedy
Replace the IR-Remote
Remove the obstacle
Decrease the distance from the monitor
(max. 4 meters)
Replace the battery
Insert a battery
Reinsert the battery
For some discs or playing modes, certain
operations are not possible. This is not a
malfunction
Turn the ACC Power on
Contact your authorized retailer
