off until the mixing time has elapsed!
During mixing, the vacuum pump sucks the mixing
vessel onto the mixer. Press the ON/OFF button
with one hand to deactivate the vacuum and hold
the mixing vessel with the other hand as it will be
released from the suction nozzle when the vacuum
drops. Once mixing has been completed, the timer
indicates the previous mixing time. This time can
either be left for mixing new material or reset.
MAINTENANCE
Like most AmannGirrbach equipment, the Minimix
is maintenance-free, including the vacuum pump.
It simply has to be kept clean. The sealing surface
of the suction nozzle and the lid must be kept
especially clean to ensure that optimum vacuum
is achieved. The seal can be kept supple by coating
it with Vaseline or similar grease from time to time.
An easily accessible preliminary filter and the filter
inside the mixer guarantee that it can be operated
maintenance-free.
REPLACING THE (PRELIMINARY) FILTER
The (preliminary) filter only has to be replaced if
it becomes blocked or contaminated due to being
used incorrectly.
Carefully pull the filter holder out of the suction
nozzle. (C) Remove the contaminated filter from
the filter holder and replace it with the spare filter
enclosed. Press the filter holder back into its ori-
ginal position. (D)
