häwa air-to-air heat exchanger are very low-maintenance, since they are designed for non-filter operation.
If a cleaning should be necessary nevertheless (for example due to sticky pollution of the heat exchanger core),
follow the instructions below:
• Disconnect the device from power supply.
• Release the attachment screws and the ground connector (fast-on plug) and remove the cover.
Disconnect also the fan motor of type Mini-Mini up to Kompakt 500, which is installed in the cover.
• Carefully clean the accessible outside of the heat exchanger core by blowing out with compressed air or with a steam jet cleaner.
• For cleaning the complete exchanger core (e.g. in a cleaning bath), release the attachment screws and remove the core completely.
• Reassemble in reverse order.
Repair:
• Exchange damaged or faulty parts if possible on site but use only original häwa parts.
• Minor damages of painted surfaces (scratches) can be repaired with the häwa touch-up paint for RAL 7035, order no. 3080-7035-02-75,
or 2K-PUR acrylic paint.
• Specify the order and serial number – see type plate for the purchase or identification of spare parts.

10. Decommissioning and Disposal

• Devices that cannot be used anymore have to be disposed of professionally and environmentally friendly.
