Function Explanation of Key Parts
AVLink is the signal relay unit which gets feeding A/V signals either via antenna cable or wireless antenna on its receiver side, and then
sends out signals on its transmitter side via wireless antenna or antenna cable to another AVLink or wireless signal receiving units.
Four Channels:
Receiving channel switch allows AVLink to rotate receiving channel among1~4. Default receiving channel is 4, when AVLink is powered on.
This switch overrides manual/loop switch but does not exit loop if loop is set. After AVLink receives signal, it resends signals via one channel
different with receiving channel on transmitter side. Default resending channel is 1 when it is powered on. Resending channel can also
be selected by pressing transmitting channel switch. Changing resending channel becomes useful when you avoid a possible interference
source nearby. Corresponding LED indicators will be displayed on the front cover for receiving and resending channels. AVLink can support
the most up to three cameras at the same time. This is achieved by selecting three receiving channels via lock switch and also set looping
status. Channels are placed at ON position on lock switch and Loop/Manual button pressed down, AVLink will resend images of each
looping channels with 5 seconds interval.
Manual/Loop switch:
This switch is on the left side of AVLink. The Manual/Looping button has two positions. "M" means manual position and "L" means looping
position. If placed in looping position, the AVLink will automatically switch receiving channel every 5 seconds and corresponding channel
indicator will flash. If placed in manual position the receiving channel can only be changed manually. No matter AVLink is on Manual or
Loop status, AVLink sending channel shall be always different with the receiving channel to avoid possible interference.
CH lock switch:
This switch is also on the left side of AVLink. It is used with looping feature together. When corresponding channel lock switch is set "ON"
status, AVLink will receive signals from selected channels with interval of 5 seconds in loop and then resends signals out via selected trans-
mitting channel.
Example of how to use the looping mode:
If you have two cameras that transmit on channel 3 and 4, then choose looping mode (L).This way the AVLink will receive pictures from
the cameras on channel 3 and 4 alternately (with an interval of 5 sec.) and resends signals on channel 1 or 2. You will automatically get
supervision of two cameras without manually changing the channel of monitoring side. LED indicators on AVLink will display which channel
is receiving and what channel is resending. AVLink can support up to three cameras to be viewed on the monitor side. For example, three
cameras working on 4, 3, and 2 channel respectively, AVLink receives signals on channel 4,3 and 2 and make them in loop status, and then
resend received signals on channel 1 to a monitor. Monitor view that three cameras on channel 1 with 5 seconds loop interval.
A/V connection with your TV
The AVLink is not only a range extender but you can connect it directly with your TV with the included AV-cable (yellow/red). For further
instruction see your TV manual. The receipt on TV does not influence the video signal to the wireless LCD monitor.
Mounting foot and holder for flat antenna
Flat antenna can be loaded into flat antenna holder and then screw the holder onto mounting foot. This device is used when you connect
flat antenna with cable directly and mount it on the wall.
T Connector with male head/Connector with female head
T connector with male head is used to split the transmitting signals from AVLink/Camera to two ways out, one is feed into antenna near
side, and another is feed into cable to another antenna far side. Connector with female head is used when the split transmitting signals
from AVLink/Camera is passed to next AVLink receiving side via cable.
Antenna cable (25m)
25M antenna cable is either used to feed AV signals from source directly into AVLink receiving side or pass the AV signals from AVLink
transmitting side directly to another transmitting antenna on far side or to next AVLink receiving side.
