WARNING: Before making any adjustments ensure the tool is switched off or
remove the battery pack.

To install: push and slide battery pack into battery port, make sure the release latch on the
rear side of the battery snaps into place and battery is secure before beginning operation.

To remove: Press the battery release latch and pull the battery pack out at the same time.
8.3

Battery capacity indicator (Fig. A)

There are battery capacity indicators (17) on the battery pack, you can check the capacity status
of the battery if you squeeze the button (18). Before using the machine, please press switch
trigger (2) to check if the battery is full enough for properly working.
Those 3 LED might show the status of the capacity level of the battery:
3 LED's are litt: Battery fully charged.

▪ 2 LED's are litt: Battery 60% charged.
▪
1 LED is litt: Battery almost discharged.

9 ASSEMBLY

The grass trimmer is supplied with some components not assembled. To assemble these
proceed as follows:
9.1

Connecting the shaft (Fig. 1)

When you open the package the tube is split into 2 pieces. To connect both parts:
1. Align the arrow of the handle tube with the arrow of the motor housing tube
2. Slide the handle tube into the joint and tighten it with the screw.
9.2

Height adjustment (Fig. 2)

When the product is assembled, rotate the extension lock knob (5) to the right to unlock the
tube. The height can now be adjusted. To lock, rotate the extension lock knob (5) back to the
left.
9.3

Mounting the steel wire guard (Fig. 3-6)

Slide the steel wire (9) into the sleeves left and right on the lower side of the motor
housing (Fig.3)

Insert the protector (10) into the black slot on the motor housing. Check the direction of the
protector. When in trimming mode, the protector should be in the position pictured on (Fig.
4)

Locate the guard (10) on to the motor housing and turn it a bit, to make sure it engages
into the slots of the motor housing. Make sure to follow the arrow direction mentioned on
the guard. (Fig. 5)

Fix the guard on the motor housing with the screw from inside the package. (Fig. 6)
Caution! During this operation beware of the line cutter blade. You may be
wounded.
Caution! Never use the grass trimmer without the guard. It is vital for your
and other peoples' safety and for the good working order of the trimmer. The
failure to observe this safety regulation is not only dangerous but also annuls
the guarantee terms.
