Using Your Deep Fryer
PREHEAT

unattended while in operation.
IMPORTANT: Always use the deep
fryer on a flat, heat resistant surface.
1
Place the basket inside the deep fryer
and close the lid.
2 Ensure that your hands are dry and
plug the unit into the electrical outlet.
DO NOT use any type of outlet other
than 120V AC polarized electrical
outlet.
3 Set the temperature dial to the desired
temperature and set the timer dial
to approximately 15 minutes. The
temperature indicator light will turn off
once the temperature is reached.
NOTE: If the timer has not been set to
a specific time, then fryer has not been
turned on and the oil will not heat.

3 Place food carefully into the frying
basket. DO NOT over fill and never
fill basket higher than the 'MAX' line.
(Fig. 6) For optimum results and
shorter frying time, basket should be
only half full.
NOTE: To cook evenly, pieces of food
should be the same size and thickness.
Thicker pieces will take longer to cook.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the food
to be fried is dry. Dab food with
paper towel or a clean dish towel if
necessary.
CAUTION: When frying frozen foods,
be sure to clean off any ice from the
food before placing in the basket.
Failure to do so may cause the fryer to
overflow when food is placed in oil.
WARNING: Remove the frying basket
from the deep fryer when filling as the
oil will spatter and cause burns. For
frozen foods, it is recommended that
food fill no more than
capacity.
