5. Important safety information

• This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or have
been instructed concerning the safe use of the appliance and have
understood the potential hazards.
• Children must not play with this device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children,
unless they are supervised.
• Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In
the case of faults, only have repairs carried out by qualified specialists.
• Caution! Do not suck up any flammable materials, hot objects or
glowing ash.
• Warning! During cleaning or operation never immerse the electrical
parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the motor unit
under running water.
• Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use
and before cleaning.
• Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
• Caution! Keep people and animals away from the suction openings!
Do not use the appliance on people and animals! Risk of injury!
