Positioning
Before mounting on the ceiling
– check that the article is working correctly (see the

1. Use the ceiling holder as a template for the holes which
need to be drilled.
2. Use the fastening material supplied to attach the suspen-
sion device. The type of fastening material will depend on
the condition of the wall on which the ceiling alarm is to be
attached. Make sure you follow the safety instructions for
assembly.
3. Insert the ceiling alarm with the locking lugs on the back
into the four recesses in the suspension device. Fix the
ceiling alarm on the ceiling holder by sliding it in.

ATTENTION!
■ Note that the alarm can also be triggered by pets!
1. To switch on the ceiling alarm and the motion detector,
point one of the remote controls towards the ceiling alarm
and press the On / Off switch on it. The green LED on the
ceiling alarm lights up briefl y and a beep is heard.
2. The alarm is now switched on. Exit the room within the
space of 20 seconds so that you do not trigger the alarm.
