Safety devices
The lift table will not carry out the lifting function if too much weight is placed on it, in order to avoid overload. If
this occurs, remove as much weight as necessary so that the maximum capacity is not exceeded.
Activation of the safety edge during the lowering operation leads to an immediate stop of the lowering operation.
It is not possible to lower the lift table any further. A short lifting operation must be carried out first to release the
safety lock.
The safety edge is located at the bottom edge of the tabletop. It is installed all around the edge to minimise the
danger of crushing.
Always weigh the goods before loading them on to the lift table. Do not use the overload protection to "weigh"
the goods. Overloading can cause irreparable damage to the lift truck.
Note
Do not carry out any modifications or manipulations of the safety devices.

Prior to carrying out any cleaning or maintenance works, or when the lift table remains in a lifted position for
longer periods, both safety brackets on the scissor lift mechanism must be folded down, as represented
symbolically in Figure 5 Safety bracket 1, to guarantee that the lift table is secured mechanically against
accidental lowering.
Note
Never work below the lifted tabletop without securing it against unintentional dropping.
