Keep the power cord well away from the cutting area during use. Always position the cord so that it will not be
caught in the workpiece when the grinder is in use.
9. Before connecting the tool to the power supply follow the safety instructions to install the grinding
or cutting wheels. Do not lock it too tight, otherwise cracks may occur.

instALLAtion
ASSEmBLy
1. Place the backing washer over the spindle making sure the fit is tight.
2. Place the grinding or cutting disc on the top of the backing washer ensuring the bore fits into the
step of the flange.
3. mount the concave recess side of the locking nut over the spindle.
4. Press the spindle lock firmly and ensure there is no movement in the spindle. Then while the spindle
lock is depressed tighten the locking nut in a clockwise direction using the pin spanner.
5. allow the angle grinder to run idle for at least a minute with the grinding or cutting disc correctly
assembled, vibration disc should be immediately replaced.
operAtion
SwITch AcTION
1. when starting the tool, hold it firmly with both hands i.e. One hand on the rear handle or motor
housing and the other on the side handle.
2. the switch can be locked in the "On" position, a convenience for long grinding operations.
3. tO lOcK tHe swItcH "On", press the switch button forward and press lock button.
4. tO unlOcK tHe swItcH, simply press and released the button. Switch is spring loaded and will
snap back automatically.

OpErATION mEThOD

1. Do not cover exhaust vents when the tool is in use. This may cause damage to the motor and
reduce the efficiency of the tool.
2. for best work results, hold the grinder at a 10-15° angle.
3. steadily guide the tool back and forth over the work piece.
4. when cutting avoid tilting the tool in the cutting plane. Ensure the cutting wheel has
a clean cutting edge.
5. to cut hard stone a diamond cutting wheel is recommended.
6. Do not use a cutting wheel for rough grinding.
mAINTANcE AND INSpEcTION
1. the armature and statorn (motor) is the heart of the power tool. Exercise due care to ensure they do
not become damaged or affected by oil or water.
2. Inspect the carbon brushes regularly and replace them when they are worn down to about a third
of the original length.
3. regularly inspect all mountings and screws and ensure they are properly tightened. Should any of
the screws be loose, tighten them immediately. Failure to do so may result in serious damage or injury.
