    • Turn to “CARE AND MAINTENANCE” and clean the appliance, to remove manufacturing dust, etc. Note: Each time you plug in your Russell Hobbs food processor you may hear a faint buzzing sound caused by the speed gauge resetting itself. This sound is completely normal and indicates that your gauge is working properly.
  • Page 6 USING THE PROCESSOR The general assembly steps are shown in figure A. Fit the spindle to the top of the motor unit. Lower the workbowl on to the motor unit, then turn it clockwise to lock it in place. Fit the drive shaft. Fit the chopping blade or the dough tool.

    SLICING/GRATING The general assembly steps are shown in figure B. Fit the spindle to the top of the motor unit. Lower the workbowl on to the motor unit, then turn it clockwise to lock it in place. Lower the disc over the top of the spindle with the slicing or grating side facing upwards depending to whether you want to slice or grate the ingredients.
