Start up in the following sequence:
1. Close the connected gas cylinder/gas tank and connected appliances.
2. Switch the connected printer (left side of printer) to ON
(the Power LED turns green only when the test log is being printed).
3. Battery switch on electronic test device (right side) to ON.
4. Press On button for approx. 3 seconds (LCD segments show random characters).
5. Wait until the segment test has been completed (all LCD segments are shown and
are lit).
6. Wait for automatic zero point correction.
7. Tightly connect test hose to supply line.
Escaping LPG is highly flammable.
Risk of burning or fire.
Serious burns to the skin or damage to property.
Do not use an open flame to check for leaks!
8.Start the automatic leak check with the Test button.
The type of test hose connection depends on the design of the gas supply system.
If you do not press any button for about 30 seconds, the electronic test device switches off
automatically.
AUTOMATIC LEAK CHECK
The automatic leak check determines the pressure drop in the supply line being tested as
follows:
• Pressure build-up until reference pressure (150 mbar) is reached
• Resting time of about 5 minutes
• Measurement of pressure drop within a period of 5 minutes
• Display of pressure drop
The current phases of the leak check are shown with two LEDs:

Phase 4
Display of pressure drop
Phase 1: Pressure build-up:
The pressure in the system is raised to 150 mbar with the integrated pump. If the pressure is
already > 150 mbar but < 170 mbar, the leak check is carried out at the existing (greater)
pressure, if the pressure is > 170 mbar, the leak check is aborted (see error message E3).
If during pumping the pressure drops by 5 mbar or more within 10 seconds (e.g. due to
equalisation processes), the pressure is again raised to 150 mbar. If 150 mbar is not reached
within 1 minute, the leak check is aborted (see error message E2).
Phase 2: Resting time:
Before the measurement is carried out, a resting time of 5 minutes is required so that the
pressure in the system can equalise. If the pressure drops during the resting time, the leak
check is aborted (see error message E1).
