If the Space Heater is to be used in motion, the Vehicle in Motion Kit must be fitted. This is an accessory to the Whale® Space Heater and must be fitted to allow use in motion. If the Vehicle in Motion Kit is not fitted, you must not operate the appliance while the vehicle is in motion. -

The open end of either flue must not be positioned within 500mm of a refuelling point or fuel tank breather outlet or any ventilator from the fuel system(s). The exhaust flue must not be fitted within 300mm of a ventilator for the living space or an opening part of a window.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Allow to fully dry before reconnecting the electrical supplies. The Whale® Space Heater must be checked periodically by a Whale® Approved Service Centre / Technician, or competent person, at least annually. This must be completed according to the practice in the country where it is used and according to the Whale®... -

Ensure that propane is used at temperatures below 5°C. Clear No Flame Detected lockout as described on page 24. Check the air ducts and vents are not blocked or restricted. Whale Overheat recommends that you wait at least 5 to 10 minutes to allow the Space Heater to cool before clearing lockout as described on page 24. - Page 24 (identified by a solid LED), please turn off the heater, check the heater for faults, power up the heater and then further lockout reset attempts can be made. When using the Space Heater in winter, you must ensure that the flues are not blocked by snow or fallen leaves etc. When the Space Heater is not going to be used for a long period of time, Whale recommends that the open end of the combustion air and exhaust flue are covered to prevent ingress of leaves etc. -

Fahrbetriebs-Kit (Vehicle in Motion Kit) montiert werden. Dies ist eine Zubehörausstattung für das Whale®-Raumluftheizgerät und muss für den Einsatz im Fahrbetrieb montiert werden. Wählen Sie für eine gute Temperatursteuerung eine Position, die nicht unter Zugeinfluss steht und ca. 1,5 Meter über dem Boden liegt.

Das Whale®-Raumluftheizgerät und die Steuerpulte sind so konstruiert, dass sie in den Kabelstrang des Wohnwagens integriert werden können. Das Raumluftheizgerät ist mit einer 12-poligen Buchse der JST VL-Serie, und das Steuerpult mit 6- und 3-poligen Buchsen der JST VL-Serie bestückt.

Der 12V-Gleichstromanschluss (rotes Kabel) und der 0V-Gleichstromanschluss (weißes Kabel) müssen an die 12-polige Buchse am Raumluftheizgerät angeschlossen werden (wie in Tabelle 1 und 2 dargestellt). Bitte beachten: Whale empfiehlt, dass der 12V-Gleichstromanschluss durch eine 5-Ampere KFZ-Sicherung gesichert wird.

Die Anschlussbuchse muss vertikal und vor Nässe geschützt montiert sein. Falls die Installation einer Stromanschlussbuchse erforderlich ist, muss dies von einer qualifizierten Person ausgeführt werden. Der Stecker ist mit einer 10-Amp-Sicherung gesichert.

Whale empfiehlt, die Gasdichtigkeit und die Verbrennung jährlich durch einen zugelassenen LPG-Ingenieur testen zu lassen. Das Gerät enthält ESD-empfindliche Komponenten und darf daher nur durch ein von Whale® autorisiertes Service Center / einen Techniker geöffnet werden (bitte kontaktieren Sie den Whale®-Support). -

Temperaturen unter 5°C Propangas. Heben Sie die Sperrfunktion auf, wie auf Seite 52 beschrieben. Prüfen Sie, dass die Luftleitungen und Belüftungsöffnungen nicht blockiert oder eingeschränkt sind.
