3. MOUNTING
Caution! Disconnect all power before installing the external unit. Do not connect the unit to the power
supply until installation is complete.

Mount the door loudspeaker behind a
perforated front panel with bell push
buttons or in a unit cabinet at a height
of 140 to 150 cm.
The loudspeaker can be mounted in
place using the mounting holes or the
double sided adhesive tape.
Remove the microphone from the hous-
ing and position it as far away from
the loudspeaker as possible. For the
dimensions of the modules, refer to
the technical specifications.
Make sure that:
• the device is positioned correctly to prevent water ingress. The arrows on the device indicate
which side should be positioned upwards.
• the microphone is mounted above a hole in order to prevent resonance.
• the thickness of the perforated panel does not exceed the diameter of the holes provided, in
order to prevent resonance. The optimal cross-section of the microphone hole is 2.5 mm.

Optional: Connect the extension modules (max. 6) to the loudspeaker module using the con-
necting cable provided.

Connect the bus wiring to the removable screw connectors as shown on the wiring diagram on
p. 44.
