Digital Compact Equipment Manual for Swimspa
5.3. MAINTENANCE IN PERIODS OF NON-USE OR ABSENCE
Programme the temperature to its lowest level.
Adjust the pH and treat the water (see the section on Water Maintenance of the Spa Manual).
On your return, set the temperature to the required level, readjust the pH and once again treat
the water.
If you do not use the Spa during winter or for prolonged periods of time, the following operations
should be performed:
Switch off the equipment from the mains.
Empty the Spa.
Clean and dry the Spa.
Cover the Spa, if you have a cover.
ATTENTION
Do not leave the Spa with water and disconnected from the mains outdoors in temperatures
lower than 0º, otherwise the pipes could freeze and damage the Spa.
5.4. USE OF THE BOTTOM CLEANER
Every so often, when there is a certain accumulation of dirt at the bottom of the spa, it should be
cleaned using the bottom cleaning equipment. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Outside the filtering cycle with the filtering pump switched off.
2. Switch off the filtering pump by placing the selector in the OFF position.
3. Divert all the suction flow from the filtering pump to the bottom cleaner inlet, closing the skimmer
and drain valves and fully opening the bottom cleaner valve.
4. Start up the filtering pump by placing the selector in the Manual position. Clean the spa.
5. Once cleaning has finished, switch off the filtering pump by placing the selector in the OFF
position.
6. Place the valves in their normal working position.
7. Wash the filter (Section 5.1)
