5. USE INSTRUCTIONS

When selecting a location for your appliance you should make sure the floor is flat and firm, and the
room is well ventilated. An average ambient temperature must be observed. This temperature is
specific according to the climatic class of the device: ST-T : This refrigerating appliance is intended to
be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 43 °C
If the ambient temperature is above or below the recommended temperature, the performance of the
unit may be affected and it may not be possible to obtain a temperature between 5 - 20 °C.
The above temperatures may fluctuate depending on whether or not the interior bulb is ON or OFF or
whether the bottles are located on the upper/middle or lower section.
The temperature of the device is adjustable between 5°C to 20°C. The temperature is regulated by a
thermostat. Changing the temperature generates higher energy consumption.
When the surrounding temperature is 25℃ and the electric cooler has no bottle loaded, it will take
around 40 minutes to decrease the electric cooler's temperature from 5℃.
The set temperature of the upper zone must be lower than that of the lower zone (about 2°C).
The best temperature suggesting set is at 10℃ for upper zone and 12℃ for the lower zone.
The appliance assures that temperature is maintained as long as it is in operation and that it is used
in normal conditions of use. The temperature inside the appliance and its energy consumption can be
influenced by many factors: ambient temperature, exposure to the sun, number of door openings and
quantity stored... Slight changes in temperature are perfectly normal.
