• Ensure that there is sufficient distance between the product and other objects.
Keep the charger away from flammable materials (e.g. curtains and paper), liquids
(e.g. petrol) or gases.
b) Rechargeable batteries
• ATTENTION! Do not attempt to charge 1.5 V alkaline or zinc-carbon batteries,
as this may cause the batteries to leak or explode!
• Do not mix different types of batteries or batteries with different capacities.
• Ensure that you insert batteries in the correct polarity.
• If you do not plan to use the charger for an extended period of time, remove
all batteries to prevent them from leaking. Leaking or damaged rechargeable
batteries may cause acid burns when they come into contact with skin. Always
use suitable protective gloves when handling damaged rechargeable batteries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave rechargeable batteries
lying around, as they constitute a choking hazard for children or pets.
• Rechargeable batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire.

c) Persons and product
• Before connecting the product to the mains, check that your local A/C mains
voltage matches the specifications on the nameplate.
