If the power cord is not long enough, contact Customer Service to request a
longer cord. Do not attempt to extend the cable yourself.

For air conditioners without a mains plug, a circuit breaker must be installed
in the line.

For air conditioners without a power cord, a circuit breaker must be installed
in the line. If you want to use the air conditioner in another location, have it
dismantled and reinstalled by a person qualifi ed to do so.

Otherwise, damage to property and/or personal injury could result. Select an
installation location that is out of the reach of children and at a safe distance
from plants and animals.
•
The indoor air conditioner should be installed close to the wall.
•
Installation instructions for this appliance are provided by the manufacturer.
Special notes
•
Use only manufacturer recommended methods to speed up the defrosting
process or to perform cleaning.
•
If repairs are required, contact the customer service department. Repairs
carried out by persons who are not qualifi ed to do so can be dangerous.
•
The appliance should be stored in a room without permanent potential
sources of ignition, such as naked fl ames, a gas appliance that is switched on
or an electric heater.
•
Do not pierce or burn the appliance.
•
The appliance has been fi lled with the fl ammable gas R32.
•
Follow the operating instructions exactly when carrying out repairs.
•
Be aware that the refrigerant is odourless. Carefully read the refrigerant's
operating instructions.

If any of the above mentioned phenomena occur, turn off the air conditioner
and immediately disconnect the power cord from the power outlet and
contact the service centre or a similarly qualifi ed person for repair and
maintenance:
- The power cord is overheated or damaged,
- The circuit breaker is activated regularly,
- The air conditioner gives off the smell of burning,
- The indoor air conditioner has a leak.
CAUTION
Risk of injury! Never repair or service the air conditioner yourself. If
the air conditioner is used under abnormal conditions, it may
cause malfunction, electric shock or fi re hazard.
