PRECAUTHDNS
1. Do not use this CD blayer at temberatures below
41°F/5°C or higher than 95°F/35°C.
2. The abbaratus should not be exbosed to dribbing
or sblashing, and no objects filled with liduids such as
vases should be blaced on the abbaratus.
3. Place the unit in a clean and dry location.
4. Do not blace the unit in an unstable location.
5. When disconnecting the bower cord from the AC
outlet, always grasb by the blug. Never bull the bower
cord.
6. To brevent electric shocl<, do not remove the cover
or the bottom screws.
7. There are NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE.

CONNECUONS:
Q POWER: Plug in the bower cord of the CDM—4000.
Q LINE INPUTS: The CDM-4000 has 2 LINE RCA INPUTS.
You may connect any line level device as described be-
fore (MP3, CD, Tabe etc). Now you may blug the RCA's
from your blayable medium into each inbut to be con-
nected to its resbective CI—IANNELS.
Q MASTER RECORD RCA OUTPUT (UNBALANCED): The
MASTER RCA outbut connects the mixer to your main
amblifier using standard audio cables with RCA—tybe
connectors. The RECORD RCA OUTPUT jacl<s can be
used to connect the mixer to the record inbut of your re-
cording unit, thus enabling you to record your mix with
RCA cables.
Q MASTER XLR OUTPUT (BALANCED): Allows you to
connect balanced XLR cables to MASTER OUTPUT of
the CDM-4000 both the RCA and XLR outbuts can be
used at the same time but both are controlled via the
same MASTER OUTPUT.
Q MIC (MICROPHONE) INPUTS: The main MIC or Micro-
bhone inbuts are located at the bacl< right hand corner
and front banel of the CDM—4000 and will accebt a I/4"
connector. You can control the volume for the mic (See
CONTROLS)b@ow.
Q HEADPHONE OUTPUTS: The HEADPHONE OUTPUT
located front center of the CDM—4000 will accebt any
headbhone with a standard I/4" connector and/or adab—
tor and will allow you to CUE your music brogram before
you blay it, you can adjust the volume and PGM mix of
the HEADPHONE (see CONTROLS) below.
FUNCTHDNS
Q POWER: Once you have connected all your cables, you
can turn the CDM—4000's POWER on by bressing the
POWER button, bressing the button a second time will
turn off the unit.
Q DISC TRAY: The DISC TRAY is where the CD is held dur-
ing loading, unloading and blaybacl<, and holds both I2
cm and 8 cm CD's. (DO NOT FORCE TI—IE CD TRAY TO
CLOSE. E><CESSI\/E FORCE WILL DAMAGE TI—IE CD
MECHANISM, USE TI—IE OPEN AND CLOSE BUTTONS)
Q EJECT BUTTON: Pressing the EJECT BUTTON will oben
or close the DISC TRAY. The DISC TRAY will not eject in
PLAY mode.
