Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting dam-
age!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted for safety and
approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• The product is not a toy; keep it away from children.
• The product may not be subjected to any extreme temperatures, direct sunlight or strong
vibrations; it cannot be exposed to dampness or wetness.
• Do not place the product on valuable surfaces without using suitable protection, as this can
cause scratches or pressure marks.
• When laying out the USB power cable, make sure that it is not damaged by sharp edges.
• Do not leave the packaging material carelessly lying around, as it could become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental falls, even
from a low height.
Connection and Getting Started
• Connect the HDMI input ("HDMI INPUT") of the converter to the corresponding output of your
playback device (e.g. a BluRay player or game console).
• Connect the cinch sockets of the analogue AV output, using a suitable cable, to the corre-
sponding inputs e.g. of a TV set, a video recorder, an amplifi er, etc.
• Connect the mini USB socket of the converter via the provided USB power cable to a USB port
e.g. of a gaming console, a television or similar.
You can also, for example, use a USB port of a corresponding power supply or similar
device that can provide and deliver the required output current (see chapter "Techni-
cal Data").
• You can select the signal format of the video output on the converter using the "PAL/NTSC"
sliding switch. In Europe, "PAL" is usually the setting needed.
• Switch on all devices connected to the converter.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the power supply.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, as these can
cause discolouration. Do not press too strongly on the surface when cleaning, to prevent scratch
marks.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-bristle brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic devices do not constitute household waste.
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory
regulations.
