CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1.) If a needle is installed,
remove it.
2.) Grasp needle nut firmly
and rotate it counter-clockwise
until it detaches.
4.) Place all the disassembled components into a container of warm, soapy water and let them
soak until any grime and debris loosens.
5.) Remove components one at a time and lightly scrub with a soft bristle brush to remove any
remaining debris still clinging to the component. If stains or debris remain on the component,
place it back into the soapy solution and let it soak further until all contaminants can be safely
removed without excessive force when scrubbing.
6.) Under warm running tap water, rinse off the soapy residue left on each component and set
aside on a towel.
7.) Soapy liquid will remain inside the handle chassis; take care to hold the chassis so that the
running water can run inside it and flush out all the soapy residue.
8.) Gently shake out as much rinse water as you can from the chassis then set aside on the towel
in a vertical position so that any remaining liquid can drain. Take each component and hand
wipe to complete drying those parts. Use a rolled up towel inserted in the barrel and rotate it to
remove clinging moisture from inside the bore.
9.) When the handle chassis appears to have most or all of the moisture drained, towel dry the
chassis by hand.
10.) Reassemble the syringe by reversing the above disassembly instructions.
If vaccinator becomes sluggish, clean thoroughly using the cleaning instructions. You will need
to remove the barrel assembly, clean and apply Prima Tech lubricant to the piston o-ring.
Many times, product failure is due to insufficient cleaning (dried vaccine in valves, bung
material caught in draw spike, etc.). For complete cleaning instructions, please see above
