Features:
• Simply turn the crack handle to generate
electricity, assisted by solar cells. No external
batteries are required. The energy created is
stored in a built-in battery, which is environmentally
friendly, economical and safe. No battery
changing is required with the long-life, built-in
battery.
• Low power consumption
• Digital display; simple and convenient to operate;
2 bands (FM/AM) can be selected
• Extra-long antenna improves reception
• Designed to save space and to be very light weight
Operation:
1. Charging by turning the crank (17):
Unfold the crank (17) from its mounting so that it
can be turned, and grip the handle (20). Now turn
the crank (17) at a speed of about 2 1/2 to 3 revo-
lutions a second. The faster you turn, the more ef-
ficiently the generator works to charge the device.
(Turning faster than 4 revolutions a second, how-
ever, is not recommended, as this may damage the
unit.)
2. Charging using an external adapter
(Adapter not included):
To charge the internal battery, connect the unit via
connector socket (11) to a 5-volt charger. The unit
will be fully charged after about 6 to 8 hours. Note
the polarity of the external adapter, and be sure to
attach it correctly.
3. Charging digital devices and mobile
telephones
Connect the radio via connector socket (11) to an-
other digital device. Note the polarity of the charg-
ing voltage. Position the crank (17) and turn the
crank at a speed of about 2 1/2 to 3 revolutions a
second. The charge display (13) on the top of your
device indicates that charging is in progress.
