Attest Rapid Readout Biological Indicator (BI)

Ŕ Allow BI to cool at least 10 minutes.
Cool
Ŕ Crushing or excessive handling of the BI before cooling may cause
the glass ampoule to burst.

Ŕ While holding BI in hand, press the cap down.
Crush Ŕ Hold BI by the cap and use "Crusher Wall" to crush the BI only one time.
Ŕ DO NOT use your fingers to crush the glass ampoule.
Ŕ Hold the BI by the cap and tap bottom of vial on countertop until

the media wets spore strip at bottom of vial.
Ŕ DO NOT roll BI between fingers.
Ŕ Place BI into incubation well that corresponds with colour-coded
BI cap. Observe LCD panel to confirm BI is correctly seated.
Incubate
Remaining incubation time, in minutes, will be displayed directly
below BI on the LCD display to indicate incubation is in progress.
DO NOT REMOVE BI from the incubation well until the

(+) or (-) symbol on the LCD panel indicates the test is complete.
NOTE: Do not reincubate the same BI for a second reading as any subsequent readings would be considered invalid.
Interpret
Ŕ Record result for both test BI (processed) and positive control (unprocessed).
