Three systems are available for the use of the sliding gate operator:
a) Metal rack, which can be welded to the gate
b) Plastic rack with steel core (up to 800 kg)

14.1. Gate rack not pre-assembled:
Push the gate manually to the OPEN position. Place the gear rack on the drive
pinion, press the gear rack against the drive pinion and drill the holes on the
gate. Then push the gate in the direction CLOSED. Mount the rack pieces one
by one. Always drill the holes when the drive pinion is located below the drill
hole. This ensures that the drive pinion always has the correct distance to the
gear rack. You can achieve the correct distance between the gear rack and the
pinion if you clamp the rack from below.
Check the impact between the
racks.
14.2. Preassembled gear rack on the gate:
Unlock the operator and open the gate.
For correct installation, push the door into the closed position. Now place the
gear rack on the drive pinion, press the gear rack on the drive pinion and tigh-
ten the screws again (25Nm).
After assembly, adjust a play of 1-2 mm between the rack and pinion.
